On day 4 we headed up to Sacre Coeur. It was a long walk with a whole lot of stairs, but well worth it! The church itself was stunning, and the view was amazing! After looking around a bit we headed back down and found Moulin Rouge. There was a Starbucks across the street, so we sat down to wait for it to get a bit darker, so we could see the lights. And when I tried to pose in front of it, the wind picked up a little..
We also did a little last minute shopping. How cool is the decoration in the shop with the dressers hanging on the wall? And hot dogs in baguettes.. WTF? And what the heck are those huge meringue looking thingies?
On our last day, we had a few hours left after checking out of the hotel before our flight, so we took the train to a park somewhere close to the airport, and laid out in the sun. We even managed to get a little burnt..! This was the best weather we’d had through the entire trip, and off course it had to be on the day that we were going home..
I like to travel comfortably, so I changed into the sweatpants and hoodie I bought at Footlocker for the flight home ♥
